Steve Brown

Steve Brown is a second-generation owner of an independent adjusting-related company, Brown Claims Management Group, that has been in the Brown family for nearly 60 years and now into 3 generations. A licensed attorney, he left the family business briefly to attend L.S.U. Law School and practice insurance defense law for a few years before returning to the independent adjusting firm in 1992 to assume leadership as its Owner/President. The company prospered and gained a reputation for integrity and high-quality service in the area of daily property and casualty claims. While the emphasis of his companies has been on multi-lines daily claims, Steve also operated a successful catastrophe division on a local and regional level. In 2019, he started Legion Claims, a division specializing in national and catastrophe claims adjusting and administration, serving both the insurance and governmental sectors. Under his vision and leadership, Legion Claims continues to experience exponential growth both geographically (U.S. & Canada) and in the suite of claims and inspection services offered.
