Rodney Magee was introduced to the industry as an Adjuster Apprentice in 1985 under the tutorship of his mentor, the late Pat S. Brown Jr. During this time, his experience included handling first-party personal line losses as well as casualty investigations. After his graduation from Louisiana State University, and with the encouragement of Mr. Brown, Rodney stepped away from Pat S. Brown Jr. Claims Service to pursue additional training. Rodney joined Crawford & Company in 1990 as a multi-line claims representative and in 1996 joined their leadership team. During his tenure with Crawford, he earned his Associate in Claims designation from the Insurance Institute of America. In 2001, Rodney returned home to the firm that introduced him to the claim-adjusting world. From an Adjuster Apprentice to then Vice President, Rodney’s efforts in conjunction with Steve Brown grew Brown Claims Management Group into the largest independent adjusting firm in Louisiana. By way of his success with B.C.M.G. Rodney became part of the founding team of executives developing Legion Claims. Legion Claims is now an international claims service wherein integrity, honesty and quality claims service are recognized as the core principles for tomorrow’s growth.
