Barry has been working in the insurance industry for over 30 years. He started by purchasing a ServiceMaster water & fire restoration franchise right after college where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Barry and his wife, Sarah, sold the franchise after a serious illness to one of their children.
He then became an independent insurance adjuster and worked daily and catastrophe claims for 12 years before becoming an Xactimate Certified Trainer in 2011 till present.
Barry has presented Xactimate and many other types of insurance related training to adjusters, IA firms, restoration contractors, and carriers through live classroom training, virtual instructor led training, and his online training center.
Currently, he is the Manager of Training & Innovation for Legion Claims.
